On April 9, we held ABC’s Data Center Conference 2026, which was attended by nearly 300 guests from the data center, construction, legal, and IT industries.
A panel consisting of experts in the field—including former Minister Mogens Lykketoft and representatives from Implement, atNorth, Bulk, Vaultica, Siemens, Thylander, MT Højgaard, Danfoss, and CTS Nordics, took part and discussed and debated topics such as how Denmark can harness the potential that lies ahead, what political decisions are needed to drive this development, and how we can best adapt conceptual international data center designs to Danish conditions.
Licitationen spoke with ABC’s CEO, Ammar Al-Temimi, and asked where the potential lies, what the challenges are, and how Denmark can catch up with its Nordic neighbors when it comes to data centers.
