Nature of the Project
The project spans a total site area of 10,455 m² and has the potential to create a new identity for the Hvidovre neighborhood.
ABC is responsible for engineering services, including the design of residential units, community centers, a grocery store, basements, and parking facilities distributed across nine buildings arranged in stepped levels with green roofs. In total, the project covers 21,896 m².
The development consists of a combination of low-rise, high-density buildings rising up to a tower approximately 50 meters tall.
The project involves the densification and transformation of an existing mixed-use urban area located right next to Hvidovre Station and adjacent to Hvidovre C. It transforms and revitalizes the area near Hvidovre Station. At the same time, it capitalizes on the site’s potential, including the green belt along the railway to the north and densification near the station. The tower and the edge facing Hvidovrevej establish the site as a hub in the northern part of Hvidovre.
The project transforms a paved area into a sustainable, green oasis in the city, with a focus on enhancing biodiversity and promoting an active outdoor lifestyle. The parking lot is integrated into the structures, maximizing the recreational open spaces. A new 1,350 m² ALDI store, a café, and a community center will be established for the benefit of the new residents.
ABC has engaged SINUZ Consulting Engineers as a sub-consultant for selected engineering services on the project.
