Project Type
Construction Site A10 is part of Høje Taastrup C, which will be a green, dense, diverse, active, and safe neighborhood.
The neighborhood covers a total of 185,000 m², comprising 260,000 m² of mixed-use development, 40,000 m² of parkland, and associated streets and public spaces.
A beautiful and distinctive corner building Development Area A10 was designed by Mangor & Nagel Architects and comprises approximately 9,000 m² of residential space, 330 m² of commercial space, and 350 m² of basement space. In addition, there is an attractive rooftop garden and courtyard. The building is a cohesive, square block structure of varying heights, ranging from 4 to 6 stories plus a basement, and is attractively situated on a corner facing the area’s city park.
The structure falls under consequence class KK3, meaning the project must be reviewed by a KK3-certified structural engineer. The floor slabs and roof deck are constructed using prefabricated hollow-core slabs spanning between precast concrete wall panels or beams. The beams span between precast concrete columns or precast concrete wall panels. Facades consist of a load-bearing rear wall made of precast concrete elements and a building envelope of masonry. Balconies are constructed with load-bearing steel elements anchored to the rear wall of the facades. The ground floor slab is constructed as a cast-in-place slab with direct foundations. Walls and columns are founded on cast-in-place strip and point foundations. The basement is constructed with cast-in-place exterior walls.
The building will be constructed as a low-energy building and is intended to achieve DGNB Gold certification.
ABC has engaged SINUZ Consulting Engineers as a sub-consultant for selected engineering services on the project.
