Project Description
New construction of distinctive residential buildings with a consistently high standard, which both preserves and enhances the qualities of the site and the surrounding area.
32 new apartments are distributed across three point blocks, positioned to open up the site into a cohesive, park-like space.
Two of the buildings will be three stories tall, while the third building—closest to the neighbors in the direction of the station—will be two stories tall.
The existing network of paths will be retained and supplemented with additional paths and new landscaping, while as many of the existing trees as possible will be preserved within the new, green residential development.
In addition, there will be three newly renovated apartments in an existing neighboring building, Radisen. The tower blocks will contain two 3-bedroom apartments and two 4-bedroom apartments on each floor. The 4-bedroom apartments will have balconies on two sides, while the 3-bedroom apartments will have balconies facing southwest.
The design encompasses all the structural challenges that arise in connection with new construction. This includes the load-bearing structures as a whole—such as foundations, precast and in-situ concrete elements, basement waterproofing, the penthouse level, a certified structural engineer, etc.—as well as the integration of the outdoor environment.
