The building is a 7-story structure that forms part of an elongated row of buildings along Sydhavnsgade.
The building is designed to include 333 student housing units and common areas on each floor.
The ground floor houses a hotel with 17 rooms. The ground floor also features shared facilities for the student housing units, including a library and a large common room with a kitchen. There are also shared facilities with the hotel on the ground floor, which include a fitness room, a large lobby, a café, a reception area, and a laundry room. In addition, there are designated areas for waste sorting, bulky waste, and cargo bikes.
The basement level features bicycle parking, storage rooms, and mechanical and electrical systems. The entire project covers approximately 13,000 m².
ABC works closely with the client, the architect, the authorities, and our sub-consultants, whose services include the design of mechanical and electrical systems, fire safety, acoustics, and AMK(P). The project is being carried out in accordance with DGNB certification, and ABC is responsible for managing the DGNB process.
