The project involves the construction of new public family housing for Lejerbo, Division 1247-0, consisting of a total of 46 units ranging in size from two-bedroom to four-bedroom apartments. The development consists of three residential blocks, 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 stories high, respectively, connected by single-story buildings that together form a unified block. The apartments vary in size, with the smallest unit measuring 63 m² and the largest up to 123 m².
The ground floor features units with private terraces, and some units have French balconies. On the first and second floors, there are balcony corridors that can also be used as outdoor living areas. Residents have access to a common room as well as a green courtyard that connects the buildings and provides access to the city’s main thoroughfare.
The building has a total gross floor area of 4,091 m² and is constructed with a load-bearing structure consisting of concrete elements with cavity wall insulation; the building’s facade is clad in red brick, which forms the building envelope. In addition to the residential units, the project also includes the creation of common areas and laundry rooms, as well as other functional spaces for the building’s residents.
