Together with our valued industry colleagues and partners at PLH Architects and Cubic Group, ABC has won a new, major framework agreement with Københavns Ejendomme (KEJD)
A team consisting of ABC Consulting Engineers, Cubic Group, and PLH Architects has won a framework agreement with the client Københavns Ejendomme (KEJD) covering the municipality’s buildings
The framework agreement covers renovation, restoration, construction, and civil engineering projects with contract values exceeding 10 million kroner and has a two-year term, with the option to extend for an additional two years.
Among other things, the task is to help extend the service life of the municipality’s existing building stock, which includes buildings such as schools, cultural institutions, fire stations, municipal housing, and similar structures.
Under the framework agreement, ABC provides engineering and technical expertise, with our transformation and renovation specialists helping to ensure that the municipality’s building stock will remain serviceable for many years to come.

"We have been working with Copenhagen’s properties for many years, and we know how important they are to people and city life. These are buildings where children learn, employees go to work, communities gather, and everyday life unfolds. That is why we are both proud and delighted to be part of this framework agreement alongside PLH and Cubic Group. With extensive experience and strong expertise in renovation, transformation, and optimization, we look forward to helping develop and extend the lifespan of these buildings, as well as creating the best possible environment for the city’s many users,”
Under the new framework agreement, PLH Architects serves as the lead consultant
The firm already has extensive experience with the municipal building stock through a previous framework agreement with Københavns Ejendomme, which has been in effect for the past four years.
In this current collaboration, they contribute architectural and structural engineering expertise to the projects, ensuring that the building’s users remain the focus at all times.
Cubic Group contributes to the framework agreement partnership by successfully steering projects to completion, providing services in construction management, resource mapping, and occupational safety to ensure that projects always comply with occupational safety regulations.
